We moved to Nebraska...2 mths ago

I'm playing catch up so this is old news. We moved from here:
Concord, CA
.
To here:
Omaha, NE
Stopping here:

Springville, UT
.
on the way. Chris drove our car while Lila and I flew. We met in Springville, UT where Chris' parents and a few siblings live. We spent Easter with his family. His brother Greg and sister Patty and their families hadn't met Lila yet. Everyone loved Lila and wanted to hold her, especially Katie:) We are grateful for the time we had to spend with family.

We moved to NE because Chris was transferred in his job. We will be here for 1 and 1/2 to 2 yrs. So far so good.

Things we like:

  • It's a lot cheaper than CA!
  • We love our apartment (it's twice the size of CA apt)
  • We have friends from AZ who are also here
  • It's less busy
  • Chris enjoys his work

Things we miss:

  • Chris' family
  • Josh and Chandra
  • Lamb family
  • Beautiful weather
  • Old ward

I'll have to put up pics of our place another time since it's not completely put together yet. We are excited for our adventure here and look forward to upcoming visitors.

4 Month Check-up

Lila had her 4 month checkup today and she is doing great. (She's actually 4 1/2 mths) Weighing in at 13.1 lbs (20th pecentile) and 24 1/4 inches long (30th percentile), our doctor said she is progressing nicely especially being born at 4lbs 10 oz. She is rolling over, pulling herself up to stand (with a little help from us, of course), smiling, giggling, and starting to play with her toys...oh and constantly sucking on her hands:) Lila is growing up so fast and I can't believe how big she is getting. There is nothing greater than watching her learn new skills and interacting with us. We love her more and more each day!

Twisting and Turning

Lila is starting to move around more and more. Mostly in circles. I'll put her down lying one direction and come back to find her in a completely different direction. It doesn't take her long to complete a full circle.

I wonder what she will do next:)
